Realizing this gap, this study has been carried out to compare the AM between the students studying through the two modes of education in Pakistan. Data was collected from 243 university students through a self-reported, five-point Likert-type academic motivation scale (AMS). The study did not find statistically significant differences between the two groups, and neither was any statistically significant difference found based on age. Gender-based analysis revealed that in AM, there were statistically significant differences among females (female students studying through conventional mode reported higher levels of AM than the females studying through online one); however, no such differences were found among the male students. Consequently, many psychological and mental health problems have occurred among the people of the world. This study focuses on identifying the effects of COVID-19 on mental health in terms of depression as well as anxiety symptoms. The content analysis of research articles, news reports, and editorials relating to the 14 countries i.e. China, UK, Germany, Austria, Iran, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, America, Russia, France, Brazil, and Pakistan was made. The literature for this analysis is searched from the databases of Google, Google Scholar, and Doaj.org. The time period of this search is from the outbreak of COVID-19 till 31st July 2021. The study reveals that depression and anxiety symptoms prevail in the population of 14 countries. Such symptoms have a separate ratio and vary from country to country. Brazil has the highest anxiety and depression symptoms among the 14 countries. Few studies identified the mental health effects of COVID-19 more on females and youngsters. One effective way to foster these skills is through STEAM education, which combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to promote critical thinking and competency in learners. In this study, we conducted individual-based action research in a school located in Karachi, Pakistan to explore the incorporation of STEAM education in the country's education system. Our goal was to create a constructivist classroom environment that would promote experiential learning. The study involved 20 Grade VII female learners, who were studying Science and Mathematics. Over a period of 4 months, we applied STEAM activities in 2 cycles comprising of 9 lessons. We collected data through the application of the STEAM approach in the classrooms, using various tools including interviews, online quizzes, padlet, jam boards, and concept cartoons. We also used qualitative research methods such as field notes, anecdotal records, and rubrics to analyze the data. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources, lack of previous exposure to STEAM, limitations of the curriculum, and a shortage of professionally qualified teachers, we were able to achieve satisfactory results at the end of both cycles. The learners became more technologically adept, independent, and intrinsically motivated to learn. This research study aimed to investigate the prevalence and problems of conducting science quizzes at elementary level. Survey method was used for this study. The population of the study was all science teachers working at elementary level in public school of District Rawalpindi. 105 science teachers working at elementary level in public schools. The sample of this study. A self-developed questionnaire was used for data collection from the teachers. The finding of the study showed that most of the teachers do not conduct science quizzes. Only 37% teacher’s conduct quizzes and out of these only 19% conduct quizzes weekly, however, 15% conduct quizzes orally. The present research also revealed that most of the teachers do not conduct quizzes due to shortage of time, less resources to conduct quizzes, lack of training, discipline problem in overcrowded classes and work overload. It is recommended that workload of teachers may decrease and facilities must be provided to science teachers for conducting frequent quizzes. It is the precious time of life when the students live without their families with an anonymous one and gain experience about struggle for survival ship. During the boarding life students face lot of hurdles and problems. Boarding life taught how to face the challenges and pursue their career smoothly. Boarding system is the combination of values and culture. This study aims to explore the major problems or hindrance faces by the boarder girls during their academic career. Through literature survey ten problems are extracted and explored. The data for this study is collected from the higher education institutions in Pakistan. It was quantitative study. The data is collected through survey based designed close structured questionnaire. One hundred responds were collected in this study. The analysis was done through pie chart, bar chart and Pareto analysis in SPSS. The results reveal that the most focusing problem is over occupancy. The number of boarders is great than the capacity. The second most evaluated issue was unavailability of library facilities or improper space for study.
